NextGen Philanthropy
Initiative
AIP’s NextGen Program engages and equips the next generation of givers to give more, give sooner, give better. Early engagement is key — our Wealth with Purpose study with BCG found that 80% of those advocating for an early start to giving are first-generation founders, self-made professionals, or next-gen members of wealthy families. Launched on 26 July 2025, the first cohort brings together 15 emerging givers and nine accomplished mentors, offering opportunities to learn from peers, volunteer with partner NGOs, and gain exposure to strategic philanthropy. The program is a six-month journey blending curated NGO field visits, personalised mentorship, sector insights from social impact leaders, and hands-on volunteering. Participants explore causes they care about, understand system-level change, and build a culture of thoughtful, high-impact giving. Each cohort follows a structured calendar from July to December, with monthly themes, learning sessions, and reflection circles that shape their philanthropic path. Ongoing touchpoints like monthly AIP check-ins, curated resources, and peer collaboration ensure that participants remain engaged and supported throughout their journey.
